Job Title: User Acceptance Tester (UAT)

We are looking for an experienced User Acceptance Tester (UAT) to support large-scale and complex application testing initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to verify that solutions meet business needs and are ready for production. This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage testing activities across multiple projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business users to understand requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes.
Develop UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
Execute manual UAT test scenarios and document results thoroughly.
Log, track, and analyze defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or related platforms.
Ensure issues are clearly communicated to development and QA teams and support retesting efforts.
Coordinate UAT test cycles, schedules, and sign-off processes.
Work closely with business users to prepare test data and testing environments.
Participate in review sessions for functional specifications, design documents, and release notes.
Provide detailed test results, summaries, and progress reports to leadership.
Support go-live validation and post-deployment verification activities.
Minimum 12 years of experience in UAT testing for enterprise-level systems.
Strong experience creating test documentation including test plans and test scripts.
Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder interaction skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Experience in government, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
Knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
Familiarity with database queries (SQL) for data validation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
