**Position:** Material Handler/Forklift Driver **Job Description:** **Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Driver** **Shift: 8:30AM - 5:00PM** **Hourly Rate: $20.00 / hour** **Shift Differential: + $2.50 for hours worked between 6:00pm-6:00am** Arrow Electronics is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals that work well in a fast-paced computer and electronics distribution center. This position supports the operation by performing various warehouse functions, including receiving, product sort and separation, picking inventory for orders, packaging orders based on product type, and shipping functions. Overtime work can be regular and is required based on business goals.  Impeccable attendance is required. The Material Handler/Forklift Driver is responsible for moving assets/materials safely using power industrial trucks and is expected to move material on foot or utilizing powered equipment. This position supports the operation by working in one or more of the following areas: receiving, storing, picking and shipping. Operation of Order Picker, Reach lift, and/or Stand-up/Sit-down lift **What You'll Be Doing:** + Responsible for labor distribution and workflow to ensure quality and production goals are met + Support one or more departments: storing, receiving, space management - Transport/staging/storing of product + Maintain work and product store areas + Must be experienced with operating an order picker and reach truck forklift + This position requires use of handheld and/or tablet - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies and procedures + Ensure quantity, quality, and accuracy of throughput + Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition by appropriate equipment inspections **What We Are Looking For:** + 1-3 years of relevant work experience + Ability to regularly operate a computer for basic functions + Ability to operate an order picker and reach truck forklift + Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals + Must be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards + You absolutely must be able to work well in a team-environment and will also have opportunity as an individual contributor + Impeccable attendance is required + Be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed during overtime requirements + Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures + Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspace. **What's In It For You:** At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
