Description
At Altus Technology Solutions, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to support mission-critical operations for government programs. Our team enhances national security initiatives, optimizing material inventory processes to ensure peak performance and security.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage material control operations, ensuring compliance with Federal Government Supply and contractor property administration regulations.
• Assemble and maintain Material Project Kits for future work requests and package completed work requests for final shipment.
• Monitor and inspect delivered materials to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with order specifications.
• Ensure accuracy in material and inventory records, maintaining comprehensive documentation for audits and compliance. Manage inventory, tracking, and control of materials for contract performance.
• Provide strategic recommendations to Project Managers regarding procurement and inventory management.
• Manage requisitions, establish delivery sequences, and ensure alignment with schedule priorities and material availability.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics, supporting material movement within WOLF and with external sources.
• Track and provide status updates on requisitioned equipment, material, and services for contract performance.
• Compile and analyze reports detailing inventory levels, procurement activity, and material usage trends.
• Maintain a technical library, including manuals, product directories, and historical records to support WOLF project kitting efficiency.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in material tracking, storage, and distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in material control and inventory management.
• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
• Knowledge of Federal Government Supply systems, contractor property administration, and disposal regulations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in inventory tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication abilities, with the capability to work cross-functionally with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
